We started this session with a bit of a snag. Our original intention was to go to Polen Farm in Kettering, but when I arrived, the park was closed due to a private event! So, I called my clients and asked if they could reroute to Cox Arboretum. Then, I called my husband to grab my Five Rivers Metroparks photography permit and he met us there as well. Lesson learned: even if I don't need it, just carry my permit with me in case of a last minute change of location!
Ended up we weren't even mad about the change of venue. Cox Arboretum is always beautiful, and that day was no exception! These three shined for their photos, and little man Easton loved exploring and playing with his parents.
It's so easy to hit a lot of gorgeous spots at Cox in a minimal amount of walking space! There are so many gems here, I doubt I will ever hit them all!
This session was extra special to all of us as Dad was getting deployed for six months just a few weeks after we took photos. It's always hard to say goodbye to a loved one for a time, but especially hard when missing toddler time where kids grow so fast! I really love these special moments with Dad and Easton.
I also loved that we were able to take time out for photos of just Mom and Dad together, as well! I'm so glad we were able to get together for a session and cherish these precious moments that go by so fast!
