This is what happens when pushing a session back one week turns out to be the best idea ever! These fall colors were absolutely perfect for this kids session in Alexandria, VA. It was a little chilly on this late October morning, but the sunlight through the trees really made those colors pop. Once you get the photos, you don't remember how cold it was, anyway!
It had been two years since I'd photographed these kiddos and it was really fun to see how much they'd grown in that time. As a military family, we move on a semi-regular basis, so I lose some of my clients with each move (I do love meeting the new ones, though!). But when coming back to Virginia, I got a message from a client I had in Ohio that they'd also had a military relocation to DC, so we were able to reconnect!
I can't wait for another fall season.
