Jonathan and Autum's wedding day was wonderful. This beautiful couple was just so excited to be getting married! The happiness to be joining their lives together was infectious.
Getting ready portraits are always so fun. I love all the details we are able to get in that time. Dressing, the building excitement, the time with mom, the quiet moments, shared words of anticipation. All these tiny things make up part of the wedding day.
I absolutely love when couples write each other letters to reread before they see each other on their wedding day. The emotion, love, and joy we see in those moments is always so touching.
First looks are always so fun! I love that it's just a few moments for the couple to enjoy seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. They get to spend a little time together just taking each other in. It's so special to see and be a part of.
The day ended up being VERY windy and cold. But Jonathan and Autum were troopers for their portraits! You can't even tell they are cold!
They looked so wonderful together.
These special details were beautiful. I loved how the small LED lights were everywhere. They created beautiful lighting for the room as the sun went down.
The Ceremony was perfect. Jonathan and Autum laughed a lot.
I also love the gorgeous golden hour portraits we got after the ceremony!
One of my favorite things about receptions is all the love, joy, emotions, and FUN that people have celebrating the newlyweds. There was no lack of that at Jonathan and Autum's wedding! Everyone had such a wonderful time.
Finally, I absolutely loved working with Rachelle. She was my own wedding photographer and when she contacted me about helping with Jonathan and Autum's wedding I was so honored. It was wonderful reconnecting with her. I also combined the trip with a visit to one of my good friend's home in Grand Rapids, MI. Can't complain about a combined friend movie marathon and wedding weekend!
