Welcoming new babies home is such a wonderful time. New baby smells, cuddles, love: a whole new life just waiting to be discovered. I love being a part of that brand new story that's taking place. Babies grown and change so quickly; I feel so lucky when I get to capture those first few days of baby's life on camera.
Sweet Leigh is now an adorable, exploring toddler and a big sister! I can't believe how much she's grown and changed since we took these pictures! (That's what happens when I don't blog for a long time-I'm almost caught up to real time and I won't be able to do these retrospective posts anymore...) She slept straight through her session, totally unconcerned with what was going on! I love these first photos on the white. She looks like a little cherub.
Mama had this adorable tutu picked out! Such a princess! After some pictures of Leigh by herself, we got Mom and Dad ready for their new family pictures! (And big fur-sister Little Bear.) I just adore the way they look at Sweet Leigh. So much joy, wonder, and love in those expressions.
We took Leigh up into the nursery for a few special moments in the room prepared just for her. She is so peaceful. I really love these candid moments with mama. It's a time to just cherish this brand new life.
I have loved watching Leigh grow over these past years. I've seen her adorable smile, and her personality start to shine through. I can't believe we will be doing a Three Year session soon!
