Sarah and Nate’s wedding was a winter wonderland. From the ceremony to the reception decorations, they embraced their west Michigan weather and celebrated their magical winter day.

Sarah and I had been college roommates for four years. I was SO happy when she called and told me she was engaged!!! I was lucky to be able to spend her wedding day taking her photos. We had so much fun!

Sarah and Nate chose not to do a first look before the ceremony. I loved watching Nate's anticipation and excitement while waiting for Sarah. And then to see that big smile when he finally saw her coming up the isle!

Their ceremony was beautiful and they were surrounded by many people who were so happy to see them together. I loved that they embraced their winter wedding with those blue isicle lights!

After the ceremony, the wedding party headed over to Grand Valley State University for photos. It was fun going back to campus to take their wedding portraits and bridal party photos.

The reception was unique and so fun! Sarah put together stunning decorations, still celebrating their winter wedding. I loved all the silver, purple (Sarah's favorite color) and the pine cones.

Sarah and Nate decided to skip most of the dancing (they just had their first dance together) in lue of a worship service. I liked that they didn't stay with convention for convention's sake and did what they wanted to for their wedding reception.

Such a great day!
