It's almost Christmas time, so it felt like I needed to spread the Christmas spirit by sharing this session. Also, who doesn’t love surprise engagement sessions?!? And in front of the National Christmas Tree!
Chris was excited to plan his surprise engagement and I was excited to help! He told Elysia they were on their way to a work Christmas party and wanted to walk by the National Christmas Tree on the way. Little did she know, he had a photographer, family waiting, and an extravagant dinner reservation!
Elysia was so surprised! Not only to get to say "YES!", but also to see her family there to celebrate with her. Those smiles are contageous!
Those Christmas lights and the Capital Dome in the background made for some beautiful engagement photos.
What a fun way to begin a new chapter of their lives together. Congratulations, Chris and Elysia!
