Callum's one year session was on a rainy and chilly April day. It didn't matter what the weather was like because Mom and I had already decided to do an indoor session. And, we decided that their home would be the easiest location.
We started with some updated family portraits in their front room. How pretty is this set up!? I brought some lights and turned their front room into a studio space. After some photos of all of them and the boys together, mom wanted some photos in their play room. One of the benefits of going to a client's home is getting a peak into their life and capturing some special places that are important to them.
Cake Smash time!!
Mom and Dad cleaned off some space on their living room floor for us to take pictures and make a mess! I love the little hat and diaper combo. What a cutie. Callum was more excited about playing with the cake then eating it at first.
I just love these following photos. We had a great time!
Oh my heart. These expressions! Once Callum was convinced the cake was good, he was so excited about devouring it! So excited, he had to stand up! Those smiles are just the cutest. I melt everytime I look at them!
I love these few candid shots right at the end of the session. Mom was cleaning up and Dad was keeping older brother occupied. It's just fun to catch a glimpse into life outside of a formal session.
