I couldn't believe it was time to take Collette's one year photos this past September! That first year just flew by! She is such a charming little munchkin and I loved watching her grown throughout the year.
Mom & Collette came out to the studio for this session so we would have lots of time and not have to worry about whether Collette was too cold or too hot during the session. Mom brought so many cute outfits for pictures! We had fun pairing the outfits with different props. Collette had fun listening to music, dancing, and playing with all the things!
Fun side note: we took newborn photos in the basket Collette is sitting in in the first photo. Mom was thrilled that I brought it out for these photos.
Looking for an alternative to a cake smash for your one year session? How about a fruit smash? Mom wanted to do a strawberry smash instead of a cake smash for Collette's one year session. It turned out so cute! It was fun to do something a little different. I love the dress Collette wore!
As always, this cutie was full of smiles for me! We had a few meltdowns in between some photos, but in the end, Collette shined. I love the strawberry smash idea and can't wait to do more alternatives to the cake smash session.
