When Kayleigh asked me about photographing her maternity and newborn pictures, I was so excited! She and Nathan were good friends while we lived in Virginia and I was so excited for her and I loved sharing her pregnancy journey with her.
I offered to include a complimentary maternity session just with her as I wanted dto do some "in studio" portraits. IE: we had these amazing accent walls in our apartment (navy and burnt orange) with great natural light that I wanted to use for something other than self portraits! She agreed and we had a lot of fun hanging out, chatting, and taking pictures.
Kayleigh is a queen and an amazing mama. She has type 1 Diabetes and her pregnancy included a lot of extra work and personal care because of it. But she did everything she could to keep herself and her baby healthy during her pregnancy. She is amazing. And she was rewarded with a beautiful baby boy.
Of course, I had to pull out my fall flower crown to use with the orange wall. It looked great with her curly hair.
I can't believe her baby is now four years old and they also have an adorable little girl! I hope to photograph them all some time in the future!
