Some sessions are just so easy and fun, they don’t even feel like work. That was definitely the case with Kayleigh and Nathan’s maternity session in Old Town.
When we started talking about what Kayleigh and Nathan wanted for their maternity photos they really wanted to recreate their engagement session. I loved looking through their engagement photos and we had a blast revisiting those memorable spots from their personal story.
These two were just so freaking adorable to work with. They smiled and laughed through the entire session. No need for me to beg them to say “cheese” during any of these pictures!
I am also amazed by Kayleigh’s personal pregnancy story. With type 1 diabetes, Kayleigh is constantly keeping an eye on her health. With her pregnancy, she had to be even more careful concerning her health and blood sugar levels. Her sacrifice for the health of her baby was beautiful to see. And the joy of both would-be parents was wonderful.
Kayleigh and Nathan got ice cream for their engagement photos, since Kayleigh couldn’t eat ice cream while pregnant, we decided to play on that for some photos.
We ended up getting burgers and donuts after our session as a celebration of Old Town. It was so much fun spending some time catching up after our session. These two were just a blast and I loved celebrating this first baby with them!
