I had seen some photos online of Jeffrey Mansion in Columbus and knew that I HAD to do a session there. When Naz and I were talking about her styled session, I offered up this location and she was excited to check it out! We started out in a high fashion look she brought and I LOVE those boots! Up against the geometric shapes in the window, the images turned out super cool. Great vibes. Jeffrey Mansion is such a great location- the building and stone are beautiful and interesting. Plus, there is a lot of greenery around. A perfect spot for lots of different backgrounds in a single space.
When planning this session and doing recon at Jeffrey Mansion before our session, I knew I wanted tulle and to do photos along the stones. I found the burgandy dress while thrifting and attempted making a messy tulle skirt for the first time. I LOVE the dark colors and the entire mood of this set. Naz suffered through laying on those uncomfortable stone steps. She doesn't even look annoyed by it, but I tried not to keep her there long. The leaves with the dark tones and the pop of gold and cream for the flowers at the end- I love the way those images turned out.
I'm currenlty planning another shoot with Naz at Jeffrey Mansion. We havn't worked together since summer of 2019 and we are way overdue! I can't wait to revisit this beautiful location and to work with Naz again. She is stunning inside and out.
