When my oldest friend and I manage to be near the same place, we usually end up traveling to get in a quick portrait session. She was visiting some family in Troy, Ohio right after I moved to Dayton. So, I drove up to meet her, snag some photos of her kids and we walked into downtown Troy to grab some headshots for Susan, some more pictures of her adorable kiddos, and caught up on our lives in between!
I know family photos are usually supposed to be nice and proper, but I just LOVE that last photo. The kids are being crazy, and Susan is just along for the ride. Isn't that how it all feels sometimes? It's just a glimpse into life at the moment.
I just love being able to do updated photos with Susan when we get together. Her family grows and changes so much between visits. It's wonderful when we get to save some of those moments with pictures.
