There is something extra special about at-home sessions. I had started doing them just as newborn sessions as it's so much easier on the family keeping a new baby at home versus traveling to a location or to the studio. However, the more I do them for other types of sessions, the more I love them.
When scheduling this family session we were right on the edge of spring, so we didn't want to worry about the weather, and baby girl was just about three months old. A bit old for "newborn" photos, but why not keep the session at home?
I love the brick fireplace, spending time in the play room and nursery, and just trying to get little man to sit still for some smiles!
I love that we had time for mom and dad to just cuddle with and love on baby girl. New additions are just so sweet to celebrate!
I usually suggest in home sessions now for just about anything! I love the coziness and the chance to get a glimpse into the lives of my clients. Seeing them where they spend their days and the comfort and ease that goes along with it. Those simple things that make up life.
