Family Portraits at the National Mall Summer 2017

When G&L were moving away from D.C. for a new adventure, they wanted to do one final family session to commemorate their time in the area. While we were planning out the session and the spots on the Mall we wanted to hit, we looked back at their maternity session to try and go to some of the same spots. It meant a lot to the family to capture those locations and hold onto their memories and their time they spent in D.C. I was lucky to be a part of those memories!

I really love the pure happiness and exploration of this little munchkin. We had a lot of fun at the session and got so many genuine smiles! I love these pictures and she isn't even my kid! Such a heart of gold.

When we found this gorgeous batch of shade right by the Reflecting Pond, I took the opportunity to get mom and dad separately with their munchkin. I still can't get over all those smiles!
