Jojo & Balaji's gorgeous wedding at the Mayflower Hotel in DC took both of their cultures and blended them together in a unique way to celebrate who they are and the new family they were now creating. With both Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies, and a reception celebrating Jojo's Dominican heritage, this day was truly a celebration of love.
The Baraat around the hotel lead directly into the first ceremony of the day. From the very start, there were so many smiles that just kept on until the last moment of this special wedding day.

After some food, the couple went up to separate hotel rooms to get ready for the next ceremony. With more stunning details (those shoes!!!!) to change into and a first look in the lobby, these few hours of slow-down time was a nice transition before the second ceremony and reception.
For the reception, the Mayflower was decorated so beautifully: those deep blues and golds perfect for this winter wedding. I also adore the cake with the gorgeous geode and crystal details. So much laughter and a lot of tears during the speeches spoke to how much Jojo & Balaji are loved.
And what a party! Starting off with the Hora Loca lead by Brazillian dancers, everyone was out of their seats and dancing on that mirrored dance floor.
From the first smile to the last burst of laughter, Jojo & Balaji's wedding was so much fun. I'm so thankful I got to be a part of saving the memories from their unique wedding day.
