When planning this styled session with Lizzie, I knew I wanted to shoot at this lush green location, and I wanted a black wardrobe. Lizzie raided her closet and found this great black lace dress. Goth goddess on a hike.
I still think about how gorgeous this session was. With that lace dress, Lizzie’s stunning eyes, and the dramatic shadows, it’s hauntingly beautiful.
We started around 10am. The sun was bright and allowed for harsh light with interesting shadows to play with. I love the lush greens that stand out in the sunlight.
I brought these white flowers with purple centers that we played with putting in her hair, softening up the look a bit. Finding even light in the shade and using an 85mm lens to get in close.
It’s always a pleasure getting together and collaborating with other artists.
