When R reached out to me for a session, I was so excited to work with her. R has a great look and she had a beautiful concept planned. Since I was meeting her in Columbus, she even found the location. With styled portraits, I usually do a lot of the prep/location scouting work; it was nice to let someone else do all that work!
I love this pink dress she brought and the beige coat.
Even though R did her own styling, I had to bring a few things from my client closet to change the look a bit: a flower crown, boho black hat, and long coat. The flower crown was perfect on her. I love updating the romantic dress to a totally different bohemian vibe by simply adding the hat and coat.
This next set is some of my favorite from this session.
We had time for a second dress. I love the leafless trees and creek with the burgundy. Perfect for sharing on social media in the fall, even though the session was in February.
I also LOVE these last four photos. I bring tulle to almost every styled session. I love the gold tulle with R’s skin. Hard to tell, but she was sitting in her car for these. The light was great on her face and it gave her a break from the cold!
