This summer session with Taylor was simply amazing!
Coming out of quarantine in Ohio, this was my first styled session since February and I missed it so much!
The session really was styled around this dress. I made the lace dress out of curtains I found at a thrift store for $2! With quarantine and a lot of craft time, I played around with the design made very few cuts, and did a lot of repining before I sewed it together. I knew Taylor would be perfect for the dress. It was a lot of trial and error, but it came out great for our golden hour session.
Styling is so important in a session. And accessories really make a mood. I loved the crown and aviators paired with the lace dress for this session Taylor. Summer queen and Greek goddess mixed into one.
Taylor is always wonderful to work with! When I threw out the idea of a bohemian sunset session in a dress made from curtains, she was all for it! She also didn't have any problem stepping into the cold creek water for these final shots.
I love the earthy feel of these images and the location was perfect for the mood.
Can you believe this gem of a location is right off US 35 and Fairfield Road in Beavercreek? It feels like we are in the middle of nowhere. I love any adventure that can be had near home.
