I saw pictures of this cool graffiti wall online and went in search of it. Just up the road there was this great abandoned building. Location for a styled portrait session, check.

I reached out to Taylor because she has a great look (I didn't know she'd show up blonde, but it totally worked out for the wardrobe I'd put together for this session) and it turned out to be a match made in heaven! I've messaged her many times about a new concept I needed a model for. I adore working with her.

I love this tapastry dress paired with the authenticity and color of the graffiti wall. I love doing odd juxtapositions. Most of the wardrobe items for this session were found while thrifting. I love thrifting for sessions because it means if I find an item I really love, I can buy it because I'm sure it will fit someone if it doesn't fit me!

This second look gives me all the Farrah Fawcett vibes I could ask for. Taylor loved showing off her new blonde hair style.

I really love that magnolia tree. It seems like we stepped into a new wonderland. I pulled those wide-leg jeans our of my own closet to pair with the top. Sometimes, I have to get creative to finish a look!

For the final look, we went boho/southwestern. I found that jacket for a couple bucks while thrifting and thought it was so cool. Trip to Arizona, anyone?

It was great working the Taylor this first time! She is such a wonderful soul and beautiful on the inside and out. We worked together a ton before she moved out of state last year. I love creating art with her and she's always up for whatever concept or look I create.
